Nigerian Governors

STATES

Nigeria is a Federal Republic comprising of 36 states plus the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja. Until 1991 the capital of Nigeria was Lagos before being moved to Abuja, the current capital.  Abuja is also called Federal Capital Territory as it is not really a state, but  portions of a few different states such previously consisted of areas that were located within Niger, Kogi, and a section of Plateau now part of Nassarawa.

I left Nigeria so many years ago (15) that I have lost track of the number of states talk less of the Governors. These are the results of the last (2003) election and the governors who won. It's pretty hard to find this information online...
