Radio Nigeria Info FM 99.3 Lagos (commonly known as Nigeria Info) launched in Lagos in 2011 as a talk-driven FM station, later expanding to Abuja in November 2012. Owned by Info FM Nigeria Limited, the station pioneered a format combining local and international news, sports, and current affairs—all delivered through engaging talk programming.
It quickly gained acclaim for its strong journalistic standards and influential reportage, even earning its Abuja arm a Press Freedom Award from the Nigeria Union of Journalists in 2021. Despite facing a ₦5 million fine from the National Broadcasting Commission in 2020 over language used on-air, the station’s commitment to integrity remained unwavering.
Notably, Desmond Majekodunmi, a respected environmental advocate, hosts the weekly “Environment Report”, enhancing the station’s focus on impactful public discourse. Nigeria Info continues to serve as a respected voice on 99.3 FM, shaping conversations on governance, society, and progress in NG.
Besides Lagos, the radio station now also broadcasts in Abuja on 95.1 FM and Port Harcourt on 92.3 FM.
